What’s next for the Maloja Pushbikers in 2025? We have the courage to rethink the Pushbikers brand and broaden our passion for cycling. Find out more here.
The Maloja Pushbikers move to the Oberkammerloh farm estate in Waakirchen. A special place, built in 1924 and used in different ways over the past 100 years. The Pushbikers move into the former cowshed. In this 400 square metre room with its listed wooden beams and columns, we are creating a place where not only we, but also our friends and visitors shall feel at home.
For the first time, the Pushbikers competed in the UCI 2.2 stage race through the three Baltic countries – and not only became a crowd favourite, but were able to finish on the podium again in the overall classific Filippo Fortin finished third overall in the Tour after finishing the final stage in second place ahead of his Dutch team-mate Roy Eefting in third.
The UCI Cycling World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, are coming up on 3 August for Pushbiker Roy. It is the entry in the diary for which he has been preparing for the last few months. His season has been filled with stage and one-day road races since March, and yet it is 3 August that has his full attention. The scratch race of the world’s best, on the 250 metre track at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
With Moritz Malcharek, another elite push biker started at the German Track Championships; and many future stars who have their home at RSV Irschenberg. The total of seven gold and two silver medals speak for themselves.
The Maloja Pushbikers can draw a positive balance after the Tour of Estonia: With a stage win for Filippo Fortin, second place overall for Matias Malmberg and first place in the mountain classification for Roy Eefting made the Pushbikers main protagonists at the tour in Estonia (UCI cat. 2.1).
Everything you are and have ever felt. A homage to the sport of cycling suffering and black and white photography.
Cycling magnet with 80 years of tradition: The Sachsenring cycle race. The track is well known, after the Covid Lockdown it was the first place in Europe for cyclists to do their laps again, and it also has a special meaning for our Pushbikers racers: “Paul and I used to race here as youngsters,” says Philip Weber. And so the Sachsenring turned out to be a success story for him on this Holy Saturday: he took third place and thus stood on the podium himself for the first time this season.
Filippo Fortin misses the overall victory at the Grand Prix Adria Mobil in Nove Mesto, but shows again his good spring form with the second place. It is already the second podium finish for him after third place in the first stage of the Tour of Taiwan.
Once again Roy Eefting could convince in his parade discipline on the track: at the European Championships in Grenchen/ CH he wins the silver medal in the scratch. We are happy about his success and proud to have him as a Pushbiker in our team. Proficiat Roy! We are happy about his success and proud to have him as a Pushbiker in our team. Proficiat Roy!
Unsere Teamvorstellung 2023 geht weiter.
Not only the Pushbikers riders and support staff went to this year’s Tour of Upper Austria, but also a young man with a camera and a drone. Our goal was to film what it means to race as a Continental road team. And let the team riders themselves speak out. In the end, it became a reportage about why you dedicate yourself to cycling and what keeps us together as a team. Because we have much more in common than just racing. Because we have much more in common than just racing.
