The Pushbikers moving into Gut Oberkammerloh

After six months of renovation, the time had finally come: Gut Oberkammerloh, we’re breathing cycling into you! 2024 is truly a special year for the Pushbikers: we are celebrating our 10th anniversary as Maloja Pushbikers in professional road and track cycling. Creating cycling moments and bringing them to life together – that will continue to be our goal in the future. From this estate in Waakirchen. We have been working in our new Pushbikers headquarters since the end of July. The shop offers plenty of space and openness, inviting you not only to inspect the Argon 18 racing bikes, but also to join in. Our Thursday Community Rides start from here twice a month. We celebrate cycling as a close connection between competitive sport, the community, young talent, our partners and this wonderful place!

“In everything we do, the story behind it is very important to us”. A sentence from Maloja that we are happy to share. So what is the story behind our new home? A happy coincidence brought us to the Oberkammerloh estate. In the summer of 2023, we met Leo Bendel, who was not only looking for a new tenant for Oberkammerloh, but also to revitalise the farm. “When I drove into the farm for the first time, I immediately clicked. I immediately developed an affection for this place and thought to myself: I want to build something here, this is a space that the pushbikers can use,” says Christian Grasmann. The former cowshed of the estate had stood empty for some time, looking more like a cold storage room than a cosy team base. But the details were there: old, listed wooden beams, cast-iron pillars, an industrial-style screed floor. The renovation often created a sense of adventure and unpredictability. “You don’t seem to follow a fixed route, you’re just travelling. But in the end everything became clearer, the pieces fell into place. And what we have now is a space of possibilities.”

400 square metres. Two bike workshops. Three offices. One meeting room. And a large, open-plan area with kitchen and lounge for our bikes and visitors!

Enabling us to continue developing the future of the entire Pushbikers project, the shop will be open on three working days from now on. As you know, we take a lot of time to put together individual bikes for our community and customers, which shall be perfectly customised for their new owners. In order to be able to maintain this, we ask you to make arrangements for such longer appointments, which can then take place on a chosen day.

In our Pushbikers Shop you find roadbikes by Argon 18 and Wiawis, also Gravel Bikes by Argon 18. We offer Maloja cycling clothes for summer and also for colder seasons of the year. We also sell Abus helmets, Roeckl gloves, Turba glasses, ccling caps and socks und Nutrition products by Powerbar. We also offer you components and bike accessories (saddles by Prologo, tools, Cleaning and care products by Tunap, Wahoo bike-computers, air pumps etc and our Berchtesgadener Milch cycling bottles). An Easycare Bike Service Station with support from Tunap is available in front of the shop for our Pushbikers community.

The Pushbikers are driven by the idea of community – and so we invite all cycling enthusiasts to become part of the movement. By cycling with us, gaining expertise and competence in bike building and in the shop. And also by making purchases in the Pushbikers shop, enabling us to strengthen the Pushbikers brand and create offers for top athletes, ambitious hobby riders and young cyclists.
