Maloja Pushbikers in Girona

QUIET STREETS, STRONG COMMUNITY

For many, Girona is a training location. For us Pushbikers, it is more: a second home, a place of togetherness. For years, a part of our passionate community has been drawn to the north-east of Spain. Being on the road together – connected by cycling, driven by the desire for community, enjoyment and conscious travel.

For ten days this spring, we lived the values that define us: joy, belonging, respect and sharing special moments. We were able to wear the new Maloja Pushbikers Kits 2025 and ride the new Argon 18 bikes – as well as our usual rituals: Rides on quiet roads, start espresso at the “Espresso Mafia”, after-ride flat whites at “La Fabrica”, good conversations, fantastic climbs and summery evenings.

Not just a training camp, not just an event – but a genuine Pushbikers experience. And that’s exactly what it’s all about.

Easter in Girona - time for the essentials

There are places that you don’t just visit. You return to them. Girona is such a place for us. With the bikes in our luggage, anticipation in our hearts and the desire to spend time in the best possible way: together on our bikes. The sun on our faces, accelerating in rows of two on empty roads, conversations between espressos and rides – that was our time. Real. Easy. Filled with joy.

Shared paths, shared experiences

Our days followed a familiar rhythm: stretching in the morning, breakfast, meeting at Espresso Mafia – a ritual. And then: out of the city, into the mountains or to the sea. Classics such as the Rocacorba or the coastal route were just as much a part of it as quiet side roads that we have long since taken to our hearts.

What connects us on the bike remains tangible afterwards. Evenings in small restaurants, cooking together, shared stories, honest conversations. That’s what makes the Pushbikers community so special – the feeling of being part of something real. It is a togetherness based on respect – for each other, for nature, for the moment.

Included: the Maloja lifestyle collection and the first jerseys from the Maloja Pushbikers 2025 collection, which arrived by express shortly before departure – just in time for the trip, just in time for the start of spring. And the first Pushbikers bikes from Argon 18 – clean in design, technically at the highest level, individually built. Made for the challenging roads around Girona. The bikes are more than just a means of transportation: they are an expression of a passion for cycling, the joy of cycling technology and the desire for aesthetics.

Because Pushbikers means: making a difference. Not just through performance, but through attitude, through community and through the awareness that every day counts. This Moment is yours – This moment belongs to you. And to us.

The connection to the people in the city is something special for us. We came as tourists years ago and now we have a friendly network in this city. Pol, our physio, has the Maloja Pushbikers jersey hanging next to the Visma and Movistar jerseys. The Bergbauernmilch bottle is on a shelf next to the bottles of the World Tour teams. When we turn up at the Espresso Mafia, people notice that we have different bikes to last year and the odd cinnamon bun is on the house. We are greeted and recognized by locals on the street.

This trip was more than just a training camp. It was an expression of our attitude: to be consciously on the road, connected with the culture and the people of Girona, open to each other. Pushbikers, in other words.

Thank you, Girona. Thanks to all our partners who supported us on this trip.
