The beginning
Christian Grasmann founds his own cycling club in Upper Bavaria. From 2010, the first elite racing team is formed, whose riders are active in criterium races in summer and international six-day races in winter. From then on, he develops his own, annually redesigned jerseys in collaboration with the Chiemgau-based brand Maloja, which become the “distinguishing feature” of the team, which is known as the Maloja Pushbikers from 2014.

It wasn’t until the U23 level that Patrick Reißig decided to take up cycling, having previously played football. The possibility of pushing his own limits and having to leap over them to get ahead appeals to him. He loves the contrast between being proud of himself and constantly overcoming the status quo. In 2021, for example, his top 10 finish in the overall standings of the Radbundesliga showed that he can have a consistent and solid racing season. Last year he was able to convince for the Pushbikers with third place on the fourth stage at Belgrade Banjaluka (2.1). He just can’t do without sport; Patrick considers competitive sport as a lifestyle to be immensely valuable, also as a complement to his job as a primary school teacher.
