MADE IN HEAVEN

The Pushbikers x Argon 18 SUM

2024 marks the start of the three-year partnership between Argon 18 and Maloja Pushbikers. The entire team is looking forward to riding an Argon 18 racing bike with a custom paint job on the road this season. So it’s time to introduce this year’s Argon 18 Team Bike in a nutshell. What does it look like and what features does it have?

Let’s get one thing straight: “The Pushbikers are known in the peloton for their eye-catching and extravagant characters. Creating a design that lives up to this reputation was a real challenge,” as Agon 18 graphic designer Kim Sivert told us.

Light, fast and designed to keep you on the road all day, the Sum marks the top of the road race category in the Argon 18 lineup. The Sum is the bike for the classics, the crits, the climbs – and any challenge in between:.

A rider-oriented design approach ensures a frame that is both rooted and responsive, with a ride experience most aero frames can’t match. With a layup engineered to maximise aerodynamics while keeping weight low, the design process for the Sum allowed to strip away all unnecessary weight within the new aero profile tube shapes – all while maintaining maximum power transfer.

Featuring the optimal balance of aero and weight, the Sum is the Pushbikers’ all-around KOM-hunter! We look forward to that – ready to ride!

I think the design fits in with the team's philosophy - we want to stand out. For me personally, it's a great partnership as I've been working with Argon 18 on the track for 7 years.
I won both of my European championship titles on this bike."
Matias Malmberg
"I was pleasantly surprised by the bike I tried yesterday – it's highly responsive, stiff, and agile in curves. I really enjoyed it and look forward to testing it over more kilometers and in various situations, including speed, sprints, and long descents."
Filippo Fortin
"My first thought about the bike was: punky, daring with the colourful accents. But still sleek thanks to the glossy black frame. It`s simply something different, something special."
Martin Meiler
